A girl who loves creating moments that matter. My love for celebration grew naturally into a calling: helping couples craft weddings that are not only beautiful but deeply meaningful.
A Timeless Union Station Wedding Filled With Heart, Hospitality, and Meaning

Some weddings begin with a color palette or a Pinterest board.
This Union Station wedding began with a problem.
Samatha and Connor were juggling more life transitions than most people face in a decade—
🎓 graduating from law school
📚 preparing for the bar exam
🚚 moving from St. Louis to Chicago
…all while trying to plan an elegant, meaningful celebration in Kansas City from afar.
They wanted a timeless, personal, stress-free Union Station wedding—but the reality was that they didn’t have the time, capacity, or clarity to bring that vision to life.
That’s where we stepped in.
As their full-service wedding planner and designer, our role was simple but significant:
give them peace of mind, protect their vision, and handle every detail so they could focus on building their future.
Long-distance wedding planning comes with its own obstacles—limited availability, travel constraints, and the pressure to make big decisions without being physically present.
From our very first call, Samantha and Conner made one thing clear:
they wanted a wedding that felt warm, refined, and deeply personal…
and they needed a team they could trust completely.
Every question, every decision, every detail filtered through one shared goal:
create a wedding experience that allowed them—and their guests—to be fully present.
Once we took the reins, the transformation began.
We built a detailed, seamless planning roadmap.
We coordinated with an incredible team of Kansas City wedding vendors.
We answered every question before they even had to ask it.
We toured the Union Station wedding event space.
Our partnership became a rhythm—steady, grounded, and full of trust.
Because they entrusted us with the logistics, we were able to pour intentionality into the experience.
When guests arrived at Hotel Kansas City, they were welcomed with custom bags—a hospitality-forward detail designed to reflect Samantha and Conner’s warmth.
Inside each bag:
✨ a hand-drawn map of downtown Kansas City
✨ a custom design stationery by YellowBrick Graphics and Spur & Serif
✨ sugar cookies shaped like their beloved pup, Frank, crafted by Heartland Cookie Co.
Before the big day, the celebration began with a heartfelt rehearsal dinner at J. Rieger Distillery, followed by a lively welcome party that gathered friends and family from across the country.
Their ceremony at Christ Community Brookside was deeply personal—officiated by their pastor from St. Louis, Brent Roam.
It was the perfect bridge between the city they were leaving and the future they were building in Chicago.
If there’s ever been a venue made for timeless romance, it’s Union Station Kansas City.
Despite the NFL Draft happening the week before—bringing heavy traffic, limited space availability, and countless logistical challenges—our team navigated every obstacle seamlessly.
While we managed timelines, vendor teams, and behind-the-scenes coordination, Samantha and Conner experienced only one thing:
effortless joy.
Inside Union Station, the design reflected Samantha’s feminine, refined aesthetic.
Maple Lane Designs created soft, romantic florals.
Marquee and Citrus Table crafted beautiful rental combinations.
Maddie Stringfellow Photography captured every emotion with stunning artistry.
Guests enjoyed:
🍨 Ted Drewes Frozen Custard—a nostalgic St. Louis favorite
🍕 Late-night Imo’s Pizza—a playful nod to their college days
🍰 Cake by Dolce Bakery
KC Flo brought the energy to the dance floor.
Brancato’s Catering handled the meal with excellence.
Trolleys from Showtime and shuttles from Agenda USA kept guests moving with ease.
Every detail worked together to create a wedding that was timeless, elegant, and unmistakably personal.
There are weddings that are beautiful—and there are weddings that feel like peace.
Samantha and Conner’s wedding was both.
What made this celebration extraordinary wasn’t just the breathtaking venue or thoughtful details—it was the trust they placed in us.
They allowed us to be their steady hand in a season full of change.
They let us protect their vision.
They experienced their wedding day fully, knowing every detail was taken care of.
And that is the greatest gift any planner can receive.
As they begin their new chapter in Chicago, we’re grateful to have been a small part of a much bigger story—a life well-loved and a promise beautifully kept.
